Cinnamon Rolls
The viral cinnamon roll hack is legit. The return on effort is out of this world. This is so easy and will blow your socks off. Tastes just like Cinnabon!
Ingredients:
Cinnamon Rolls
Five count package of refrigerated cinnamon rolls. I prefer Pillsbury Grands Cinnabon with Cream Cheese icing
1/2 cup heavy cream
4 tbsp (1/2 stick) butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Icing
Cream cheese icing from the cinnamon rolls
2 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp butter, softened
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions:
Arranged the cinnamon rolls in a deep 8x8 or 9x9 casserole dish. Cover the tops of the rolls with the heavy cream, letting it run into the bottom of the casserole dish.
In a separate bowl, make a slurry from the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread evenly over the tops of the cinnamon rolls. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until the tops are browned.
For the icing, cream the butter and cream cheese. Then mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
Take the cinnamon buns out of the oven and let cool for about five minutes. Then spread the icing evenly over the tops. Enjoy!
